What You'll Do:
Work closely with Finance Functional Owners to design the setup and integrate newly acquired businesses into SAP
Plan and manage SAP implementations and enhancements
Administer and optimize the creation and maintenance of Finance Master Data to support financial reporting including Profit Center, Cost Center and Chart of Accounts reporting hierarchies
Coordinate and lead system-related projects and initiatives such as, new system functionality and/or new technologies, working closely with IT and other finance owners
Identifying risks, issues and dependencies in the project and reporting them to Finance Functional Owners
Research finance best practices to identify and implement capabilities that drive optimization of processes and automation through financial systems technology including existing and emerging technologies
Develop and document new finance system procedures and identify areas where training is needed
Partner across customer base of Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, and Treasury to provide first level support for issues and complex accounting transactions
Supporting R2R Global Process Owner in establishing, designing and preparing global processes and identifying local specifics
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
Merger and Acquisition experience (system and process)
7+ years' experience as SAP user in the accounting/finance field
Experience of defining new FI & CO Enterprise structures and Chart of Accounts
Experience in global commerce media / technology company or similar business model
Knowledge of month & year end closing activities for finance on SAP
Experienced in configuration and knowledge of Core SAP Financials including General Ledger (GL), Assets, Closing & Statutory Reporting (Parallel Ledger), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Banking.
Experience with, or demonstrable understanding of Controlling aspects; Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, and Allocations.
A track record of mentoring, coaching, knowledge transfer/training is expected
Proficient in gathering requirements and create documents and procedures
Proficient in problem solving and decision-making
Detail oriented, organized critical thinker with strong analytical skills
Having experience of one or more of the following is a plus:
BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management)
Alteryx
Anaplan
Blackline
SAP S4/HANA
Intercompany functionality with or without Intercompany Matching Reconciliation (ICMR)
