What You'll Do:
The Marketplace team is responsible for selecting the best ad campaign for a given request, determining how much we should bid and how much we should bill. We handle hundreds of billions of requests every day, and need to solve complex mathematical optimization problems in less than 30ms! Our stack: we use C# for realtime bid computation and billing, and Python, Scala and SQL for our offline data pipelines.
You will design, build and improve Criteo's bidding and billing pipeline.
You will collaborate with other teams and many functions, including Machine Learning Engineers, Product team and Data Analysts, to conceive and implement well-designed, scalable and performant solutions.
You will design and implement data pipelines handling huge volumes of data.
Who You Are:
Master degree/PhD in Computer science or related field.
You have 5+ years of programming experience in an least one programming language such as C#, Scala, Java, C++.
You are rigorous and detail-oriented.
You have good communication skills both written and oral, and are a team player who can efficiently work with others.
You love algorithms and new technology, and are interested in Machine Learning and optimization problems.
