What You'll Do:

About the role
Criteo is in search of a goal driven & self-motivated Account Strategist to join our Account Strategy team in Sydney, Australia.
You will be partnering closely with enterprise level advertisers & agency partners to understand their marketing and business goals & objectives, and tailor bespoke solutions from Criteo’s suite of products to address their needs and cultivate a strong and productive relationship with clients & agencies.


  • Primary Account & Relationship owner across enterprise / ASX / Global Listed retailers.

  • Proactively grow Criteo revenue to meet growth targets and maximise retention of clients and/or agencies.

  • End-to-end management of accounts including strategy, media plans, implementation, campaign management, reporting

  • Build long lasting trusted-advisor relationships with client & agency contacts.

  • Develop Account Plans for top clients & agencies.

  • Present quarterly strategic business reports to “Head of” and C-Suite internal and external stakeholders.

  • Optimise media activity and media mix to generate improved value & results for the client/agency.

  • Attend regular client meetings (face to face and via Zoom) to ensure strategy execution is meeting client expectations.

  • Proactively identify and suggest new processes toward enhancing Criteo’s Solutions

  • Project manage our new, Retail Media monetisation clients.

  • Demonstrate our Retail Media supply opportunities to brands and their agencies

  • Encourage feedback from customers to further strengthen Criteo’s products and services.

  • Attending meetings and industry events to expand your knowledge and network.

Who You Are:


  • At least 5 years proven experience in direct client relationships in Advertising, Marketing and/or Technology.

  • A good understanding of the digital advertising landscape including Retail Media

  • Demonstrated track record of:

  • innovation leading to revenue growth and customer retention.

  • offering outstanding customer service

  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.

  • Ability to assess and resolve client issues & objections encountered in the role.

  • Strong data analysis & data/insights interpretation skills

  • Programmatic experience desired

We hired our first Criteo in Australia back in 2011 and have significantly grown our presence across the local market since then! Today, our Australian team stands for a close knit group of 30 Criteos distributed across Sydney and Melbourne. Over eight nationalities are represented through our Australian team only; Diversity is the key to opening our minds and our futures. Though our positions in Australia are mainly sales based, you'll also find a few opportunities in operations and support areas.
