What You'll Do:
Criteo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join the Enterprise DACH team as a Retail Media Sales, reporting to the Head of Sales.
In this role, you will be responsible for scaling and securing brand and agency media buys for Criteo’s solutions, including but not limited to Criteo’s partnerships with the “Big 6” advertising agencies, with independent retail media agencies and with brand advertisers within our Enterprise business unit. Whilst driving revenues from your portfolio you must be highly effective in navigating all facets of the sales process; from prospecting, to understanding media buying cycles, navigating the client/agency stakeholder hierarchy, and through to closing business.
We are looking for a strong relationship builder who is responsive, creative and consultative and has the right network in place.
The role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
- You will be working closely with the client contacts in your individual BoB in order to win new business and increase the adoption of Criteo’s solutions, covering both our Retail Media and our Marketing Solutions (Retargeting, Acquisition & Retention) products
- Continuously prospect and pitch client contacts in order to drive revenues within your individual book of business
- Manage client relationships from the early stages of the sales process through to post-sales, with the clear goal to create long-term partnerships which ultimately lead to sustainable, repeat business
- Develop a deep understanding of Criteo’s portfolio of solutions, understand and articulate key KPIs for campaigns and use that to fuel new business with your client portfolio
- Become a trusted partner and advisor for your client counterparts, creating and maintaining a strong network within your book of business
- Deliver against revenue growth goals in line with Criteo quarterly objectives.
Who You Are:
- Deep understanding of the DACH / Central European brand and media agency landscape, and the digital advertising landscape in general
- Ideally specific experience in Retail Media or audience-based display campaigns in the open web (e.g. retargeting, acquisition, retention campaigns)
- Well-connected within the Big 6 agency groups and/or with brand advertisers and retail media agencies, and in the wider online industry
- Proven ability to influence, persuade and negotiate in complex situations
- Ability to work and deliver strong results in a fast paced, dynamic team environment
- Strong team player, partnering both internally and externally to identify, present and close opportunities with new agency clients
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate with high integrity in any situation
- Business proficient in German and English
