What if, in your next adventure, you were surrounded by people who, like you, look for an unlimited playground to explore, share, and test, would you care to hear more? You've opened the right door! As an R&D team, making sure your ideas are heard and encouraged is what we strive to do!

What You'll Do:

CRITEO is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our UDP department and to manage our ID Graph team!

Your main missions :

  • You will take over an existing team of experienced engineers, who are focused serving multiple and sophisticated internal clients - such as audience, bidding and measurement components. You will design and implement algorithms and processes to reconcile fragmented identifiers and probabilistic signals, in order to consolidate user profiles.

You either already have, or will develop:

  • a deep experience in offline, large scale data processing through Spark jobs or other technologies

  • a strong experience of people management and team leadership

  • You welcome the challenge of growing not only more junior engineers, but also highly experienced engineers above your own seniority

  • You like the prospect of combining engineering challenge and data analysis skills.

Who You Are:

  • Rock-solid foundation in Computer Science (data structures, algorithms, software design).

  • Solid experience in Object Oriented Programming and architecture (Spark, Scala, C#, Java, or C++).

  • Have experience with taking initiative/ownership and acting as a technical lead.

  • Have experience with developing and extending large and complex systems.

  • Have worked in Agile environments, are passionate for shipping quality code and for automated testing.

  • Great oral and written communication and presentation skills in English (French is a plus).

  • A can do attitude and the ability to work on problems by thinking positively and in a collaborative manner.

  • Experience with balancing a hands-on engineering role while managing teams of 5-10 engineers.

What is in it for you?

  • You will be part of an Engineering team that is recognized in our industry and has an active presence to international conferences, meetups and demos all around the globe

  • You will be able to contribute actively to the programs that shape our unique R&D culture, such as “voyagers” (temporarily joining another team, to work on something different), frictionless internal mobility, “10% projects”, mentoring, technical talks, hackathons, etc.

  • At Criteo, we prioritize work-life balance and offer a flexible remote work policy to support everyone in achieving it

  • Our company offers a competitive compensation package, comprehensive health insurance, and various additional benefits that may vary by location

  • Do you want to learn more about our company’s culture? Check out this article on our website: https://careers.criteo.com/en/working-at-criteo/

We acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above. If your experience looks a little different from our requirements but you believe that you can still bring value to the role, we’d love to see your application!
