What You'll Do:

Criteo is seeking a highly motivated individual who can exercise leadership by engaging with and understanding the needs of Criteo and Criteo partner customers based across Europe. In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies across our portfolio to accelerate growth. As Sr. Director, Client Development EMEA Enterprise you will engage with senior leaders within the agency and client communities to understand how Criteo can expand our partnerships with them to grow/enhance their business.

You will represent our company at a pan-regional level, work as part of the EMEA Enterprise leadership team and work to a growth agenda which delivers excellence at the core of our customer proposition. You will bring commercial and new business leadership expertise to strategic relationships, with attention to developing best practice and excellence that can be replicated across the region.

You will have a proven track record of leadership; be comfortable managing high performance individuals and you will have a keen sense of excellence and entrepreneurial spirit. You will naturally enjoy opportunities to improve working practice and customer relationships. You must be comfortable working cross-functionally and have experience with strategic leadership, with the ability to drive sales excellence and operational aptitude whilst improving operating models. Your ability to inspire others, influence, communicate, and manage change across cross-functional partners at all levels of management is essential

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies across EMEA in line with global goals and objectives aiming to accelerate revenue growth across our product portfolio.
  • Lead one-team approach for Criteo business across EMEA Enterprise.
  • Work directly with key EMEA and international accounts and understand the requirements of these existing customers and build strategies with the market leads to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Engage strategically with key clients or targeted client activities including running QBRs, top to top meetings and strategic discussions about partnership development.
  • Work across EMEA commercial teams contribute to the pan European Enterprise commercial positioning that capitalises on all the supply and demand opportunity in the market
  • Lead a high performing and engaged team providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance. Coordinate the development of key performance goals for all functions and direct reports
  • Partner effectively with a broad range of internal teams (Sub Regional MD’s, Strategy, Marketing, Legal, Account Management, Technical Solutions, Creatives and Product) to enable your sales and partnership efforts.
  • Effectively communicate demand-side partners and share insights at various levels to support the development of client solutions.
  • Establish key partnerships at client and holding agencies to influence and motivate advertiser business strategy. Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal client teams on the demand side to develop best practice and future opportunities for retail partners.
  • Create sector and client knowledge to help inform accurate growth projections that deliver expansion against the market opportunity.
  • Assist in developing global agreements, financial targets and budget development and monitoring
  • Monitor performance of Europe-wide commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
  • Maintain competitor intelligence and develop positioning strategies.
  • Day to day management of client-facing commercial team who develop cross EMEA regional commercial partnerships with HoldCos and Brands and who run regional campaign management

Who You Are:

  • Proven experience in Retail Media or Commerce Media specifically working with agencies or brands within Adtech, Martech or similar. Experience building go to market strategy, building Enterprise level relationships and organising for execution.
  • Experience operating in a commercial role across the EMEA markets, preferably in a EMEA wide client-facing role.
  • 10+ years’ experience managing commerce activity for a technology company, brand, retailer or agency
  • Commercial-driven marketer who is highly numerate and not afraid to ask questions ​
  • Relationship-builder who can gain trust, support, and respect from others
  • Exceptional operator who can get things done and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communicator who can easily explain potentially complex topics
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with change and ambiguity and can operate autonomously
  • Proven experience delivering successful projects in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Strategic thinker who is curious and confident to join in and at times lead the discussion
  • Very strong senior leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading high performing sales business development and account management teams, including leading people managers ​
  • Strong track record of leading, motivating, recruiting, and retaining others ​
  • Proven performance of consistently delivering business results in a high growth environment
  • Influential connections and relationships within the retail industry, and with major agencies and brands ​
  • Proven track record of prospecting and signing multi-million deals
  • A strong technical aptitude with the ability to rapidly learn new technologies and take advantage of new concepts
