What if, in your next adventure, you were surrounded by people who, like you, look for an unlimited playground to explore, share, and test, would you care to hear more? You've opened the right door! As an R&D team, making sure your ideas are heard and encouraged is what we strive to do!

What You'll Do:

Our team is responsible for maintaining and developing a platform that processes incoming HTTP requests, modifies and filters them, and forwards them to our partners. The incoming requests primarily consist of JSON-formatted data containing specific fields defined by the RTB protocol.

The system is high-load and highly optimized, processing over 1 million requests per second. The load is distributed across hundreds of servers in various regions.

The team’s responsibilities include adding new business logic for processing, configuring the system, and testing new ideas (including A/B testing). The platform is built on a high-performance internal solution.

Our workflow is structured around quarterly planning for major feature requests. Within each quarter, we work in weekly sprints to accommodate smaller tasks and ensure steady progress on larger initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing new business features and supporting the current solution (on Lua primary).

  • Rewriting parts of the current platform using a new tech stack based on Go (Golang).

  • At the moment, the ratio of Lua to Go code is approximately 90 to 10. In the future, we plan to fully transition to the new stack, but this will take some time.

  • Participating in the standard process of handling business tasks related to development, including writing code, tests, deploying features, and verifying them in production.

  • Developing architecture and technical documentation for large-scale tasks.

  • Engaging in daily team activities, such as attending meetings, proposing technical improvements to the project, participating in code reviews, and monitoring the platform's health.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: 2+ years of programming experience, proficient in writing code and unit tests.

  • Experience with any of these languages is a big plus: Lua, Golang, C++, Perl, Ruby, Python

  • General understanding of high-load systems.

  • Familiarity with basic Linux commands for comfortable command-line work.

  • Understanding and experience with Docker images.

  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git, with the ability or readiness to learn GitLab CI.

  • Basic understanding of key-value databases and their principles.

  • Knowledge of testing fundamentals and programming best practices.

We acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above. If your experience looks a little different from our requirements but you believe that you can still bring value to the role, we’d love to see your application!
