What You'll Do:
Criteo is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to lead the revamp of its client-facing technical documentation, primarily focusing on Retail Media. This role will be responsible for crafting clear, accurate, and engaging documentation for API integrations, JavaScript implementation guidelines, and other technical resources that enable seamless client adoption. As a key contributor, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and customer support teams to create and maintain high-quality technical content.
Key Responsibilities
- Overhaul and improve existing client-facing technical documentation.
- Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly guides for API integration and JavaScript implementations.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and client-facing teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with client needs.
- Establish and maintain a structured content framework, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Enforce best practices for technical writing, content structure, and information architecture.
- Gather feedback from clients and internal teams to continuously refine documentation quality.
- Ensure all documentation meets high editorial and technical standards, enhancing clarity and usability.
Who You Are:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, with a strong portfolio showcasing client-facing API documentation and JavaScript integration guides.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) with exceptional communication skills.
- Deep understanding of API documentation, RESTful APIs, and front-end development concepts.
- Hands-on experience with documentation succ as CMS platforms like Readme, Markdown, Confluence, or Git-based workflows as well as testing tools like Swagger, Postman.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured, and user-friendly content.
- Strong analytical skills to identify gaps and improve documentation usability.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with content automation tools and documentation frameworks.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with Retail Media or Advertising Technology platforms.
- Knowledge of technical SEO and content strategy for developer-facing documentation.
