What You'll Do:
This position sits within a team that is currently part of the Billing, Finance & Optimisation organisation focuses on billing‑related systems and financial data, using a tech stack centred on Python, Django, and SQL.
Own end-to-end technical delivery of features, ensuring quality, scalability, and timely execution
Lead system and feature design, making sustainable technical decisions and trade-offs
Act as the technical reference for the team through design and code reviews and day-to-day guidance
Mentor engineers and promote best practices in architecture, testing, and CI/CD
Oversee integrations, production performance, and resolution of complex technical issues
Who You Are:
Proven backend engineering experience with exposure to technical leadership or mentoring
Strong Python 3 skills and hands-on experience building REST APIs (Django/DRF preferred)
Solid understanding of system design, data structures, and performance considerations
Experienced with relational databases, Unix systems, and modern CI/CD practices
Clear communicator, quality-driven, and comfortable owning delivery and technical decisions
