Job ID: r20623
What You'll Do:
Criteo Commerce Grid is Criteo's global SSP, harnessing commerce data to maximize media owner revenue, driving better outcomes for advertisers, and helping retailers unlock the value of their shopper data. In Japan, Commerce Grid is a strategic growth pillar. We partner with publishers, retailers, agencies and DSPs to build a differentiated commerce media ecosystem across Web, App, Video and CTV.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end operational execution across curation services — from proposals and deal setup to campaign management, optimization, reporting and analysis — in close collaboration with global teams in English.
Collaborate daily with APAC and global CGrid teams in English via Slack, email and online meetings, driving deals forward accurately and efficiently.
Manage the full operational workflow for curation services: estimates, proposals, deal configuration, live campaign management, performance optimization, reporting and analysis.
Operate and optimize publisher supply and PMP deals across Web/App/Video/CTV, focusing on yield and performance.
Monitor and manage traffic quality, working with internal teams on IVT, brand safety and policy topics.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues, partnering with global Product, R&D and Ops.
Gradually take on agency and advertiser outreach as part of the curation sales motion — full training provided for those new to sales.
Act as a key Japan point of contact for APAC and global CGrid stakeholders, sharing market insights and helping drive new initiatives.
Who You Are:
You have a solid understanding of SSP/DSP mechanics, RTB and auction logic, with hands-on experience in programmatic operations and optimization.
You are detail-oriented and execution-focused: you can manage a full operational workflow — from estimates and proposals through to setup, optimization, reporting and analysis — accurately and reliably.
You have business-level English proficiency, both written and spoken, and are confident communicating with global teams via Slack, email and video calls daily.
You are open to agency and advertiser sales as part of your role and eager to develop commercial skills over time — no prior sales experience required.
Familiarity with Amazon Ads (Amazon DSP and/or Sponsored Ads) is a plus.
You are fluent in Japanese and comfortable working cross-functionally with regional and global teams.
You have 3+ years of experience in Japan in programmatic media, publisher monetization, SSP operations or a related digital advertising field.
We acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above. If your experience looks a little different from our requirements but you believe that you can still bring value to the role, we’d love to see your application!
