Job ID: r20630
What You'll Do:
Criteo is building a Center of Excellence for AI-powered automations and intelligent agents across its operations teams. The goal: give business users and builders a secure, scalable foundation to create AI solutions, with the governance to run them reliably at enterprise scale.
As the AI Automation Technical Lead, you own the technical architecture and operational reliability of the platforms that power this program. You work day-to-day with a Project Manager who leads the program, alongside builders embedded in operations teams, and connected to operations leadership. The work spans platform strategy, cloud infrastructure, API design, reusable connectors, and development standards, coordinating across IT, Security, R&D, and application teams.
You'll host and maintain automation platforms on cloud infrastructure, design integrations with enterprise systems, and build the technical enablement materials that let builders ship autonomously. You'll also evaluate emerging AI technologies, maintain a technical roadmap, and act as the primary technical interface between the program and internal stakeholders.
Own the reliability and evolution of the automation platform stack, with strong hands-on skills in AWS/Kubernetes operations, observability, troubleshooting, and production support to run and scale low-code automation platforms such as n8n.
Design and implement enterprise-grade connectors and integrations across internal systems, with clear documentation and long-term supportability in mind.
Define and enforce platform standards covering RBAC, logging, auditability, and environment strategy, in close partnership with Security and IT.
Drive technical alignment across stakeholders by coordinating with IT, Security, R&D, and application teams, resolving trade-offs and surfacing dependencies early.
Enable builders to deliver autonomously through hands-on technical coaching, office hours, code reviews, and support on complex implementations.
Explore and shape the future platform roadmap by evaluating new AI tools and platforms, running proof-of-concepts, and recommending adoption or deprecation decisions.
This position is based in Gurugram, India
Shift EMEA - 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST
Who You Are:
5+ years in software engineering, including 2+ in a technical lead, platform engineering, or cross-functional coordination role.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Skilled at designing and implementing integrations and APIs between enterprise systems.
Proven ability to drive technical decisions across multiple stakeholder groups in complex organizations.
Curious about emerging AI technologies and motivated to experiment with new approaches, but pragmatic enough to balance ideal solutions with delivery timelines.
Comfortable prototyping connectors, building reference flows, or debugging production issues.
You lead through influence and expertise, not authority.
Nice to have:
Full-stack versatility across frontend, backend, and database layers (Python, Node.js, TypeScript, SQL)
Working knowledge of RAG, AI agent architectures, prompt engineering
Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier) or enterprise AI agent platforms (Dust, Glean, Agentforce)
Solid CI/CD, version control, testing, and deployment practices
