What You'll Do:

Criteo's Commerce Grid is the commerce-native SSP — built on 4 billion SKUs, $1 trillion in annual transaction signals, and a shopper graph with no real equivalent in the market. It is our right to win in the SSP and Curation landscape, and the teams that sell and activate it are at the heart of how we grow.

We are looking for a VP, SSP and Curation Activation to lead all sales and customer success teams for our supply-side business. This includes our core Commerce Grid activation function globally, our curation business, and a newly launched motion to bring Criteo Commerce Audiences to market through third-party SSP partnerships.

This role sits inside our Customer Organization and reports directly to the Chief Customer Officer. It is a commercial leadership role at the intersection of sales execution, strategic partnership, and cross-functional influence and it requires someone who can drive revenue, build high-performing teams, and earn credibility with the agencies, holding companies, and partners that control where budgets flow.

What You'll Do

Own the commercial results of the SSP Activation business

  • Lead global sales and CS teams across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, panning media owner development, curation activation, and DSP/demand partnerships
  • Set the standard for revenue accountability, pipeline discipline, and deal execution across all regions with an input/output mindset
  • Drive the commercial success of our on-Grid curation business and lead the expansion of our 3P SSP curation motion (PubMatic, Magnite, Index) as a net-new revenue channel targeting agency budgets locked behind SPO agreements

Lead and develop an exceptional team

  • Lead a multi-layered team of VPs, Senior Directors, and Directors covering distinct segments (holding company agency activation, indie publishers, curation CS, DSP partnerships)
  • Identify gaps, develop talent, and make thoughtful decisions on team structure and performance with rigor and care
  • Create a culture of ownership, clarity, and high standards — where strong performers are recognized and underperformance is addressed directly

Shape and execute go-to-market strategy

  • Develop and execute the GTM strategy for Commerce Grid activation, including sales plays, account coverage models, rules of engagement with agency teams, and co-selling motions with 3P SSP partners
  • Work in close partnership with product, product marketing, and GTM teams to ensure sellers are enabled and equipped to win
  • Own and refine the narrative on why Grid — and why Criteo Commerce Audiences — for L/XL advertisers, agencies, and CTV buyers

Drive the 3P SSP curation opportunity

  • Lead the sales motion for Commerce Audiences activation through PubMatic and Magnite partnerships, targeting agency budgets that cannot or will not route through Commerce Grid directly
  • Build executive-level relationships with SSP counterparts to establish top-down commercial alignment
  • Create and develop curation partnerships with key Broadcasters, CTV publishers and key publishers
  • Collaborate with GTM, CS, and Ops teams to ensure we move from pilot to repeatable, scalable program with disciplined revenue tracking

Represent the business at the senior level

  • Serve as the senior commercial voice for Commerce Grid internally (ELT, LT) and externally (holding company ELTs, major publishers, DSP partners)
  • Quarterback high-stakes client and agency relationships — you are the executive sponsor for the deals and partnerships that define the business
  • Build the pipeline of relationships that opens doors others cannot

Who You Are:

You are a proven commercial leader in the programmatic ecosystem You have led sizeable, global revenue-generating teams in an SSP, DSP, ad exchange, or closely adjacent business. You understand how agency budgets move, how SPO decisions get made, and what it takes to earn a place in a holding company's preferred partner set. You have personal credibility with agency trading desks, programmatic leads, and senior publisher/platform contacts and you use it.

You know how to win with a product that requires education Commerce Grid is not yet household-name infrastructure. You are comfortable leading a sales motion where the value proposition needs to be articulated clearly and repeatedly, and you know how to build a team that can do the same. You are not intimidated by competitive headwinds; you are energized by them.

You are a builder and an operator You have stood up new GTM motions before, not just inherited them. You know what good looks like in terms of pipeline hygiene, sales process, forecasting discipline, and post-sales handoff. You can zoom out to set strategy and zoom in to coach a specific deal or conversation when needed.

You are direct and decisive You make the call, you own it, and you explain your reasoning clearly. You hold high standards for yourself and the people around you, and you are not conflict-avoidant when the business requires hard conversations — whether with a struggling team member, a skeptical agency partner, or an internal stakeholder.

You are a strong cross-functional partner This role is inside the Customer Org and works daily with Product, GTM, Finance, and People teams. You know how to influence without authority, build consensus where needed, and push back constructively when it isn't. You do not wait for perfect conditions — you create clarity in ambiguous situations and move.

Experience and background typically include:

  • 10+ years in digital advertising, programmatic, or ad tech with progressively increasing commercial leadership scope
  • Deep familiarity with the SSP/supply-side ecosystem, including DSP relationships, curation, deal ID mechanics, and agency buying dynamics
  • Demonstrated success managing global, multi-regional commercial teams
  • Experience selling or activating CTV supply or commerce/audience data solutions is a strong plus
  • Track record of building new business motions, not just managing existing books

We acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above. If your experience looks a little different from our requirements but you believe that you can still bring value to the role, we’d love to see your application!
