Join Criteo as a Staff Solutions Engineer on the Product Expertise team. You will apply deep technical and product expertise to complex client, partner, and internal challenges, with a strong focus on API-driven solutions, integration quality, and scalable support practices.
What You’ll Do
- Provide expert technical assistance on complex product and API-related matters for clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Diagnose and resolve advanced integration, configuration, tracking, reporting, and API usage issues.
- Own high-impact investigations end to end, including reproduction, impact assessment, documentation, escalation, and resolution follow-up.
- Escalate to Product and R&D with clear context, evidence, business impact, and prioritization rationale.
- Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions, integration approaches, and implementation guidance.
- Advise stakeholders on API best practices, including authentication, data flows, troubleshooting, monitoring, and operational readiness.
- Conduct design reviews and provide architectural guidance for complex or strategic integrations.
- Create reusable playbooks, troubleshooting frameworks, internal guides, and client-facing best practices.
- Identify recurring issues, support gaps, tooling needs, and process improvements, then help drive practical solutions.
- Partner with Product, R&D, GTM, and Operations to validate features, improve documentation, reduce support friction, and turn feedback into actionable product insights.
- Support knowledge sharing across peers through documentation, training sessions, and structured technical enablement.
Who You Are:
- Experienced technical problem-solver with 6+ years in solutions engineering, support engineering, partner engineering, implementation engineering, or a similar client-facing technical role.
- Strong API practitioner, comfortable diagnosing REST/JSON integrations, inspecting HTTP traffic, validating payloads, and troubleshooting authentication, permissions, errors, and data discrepancies.
- Proficient with Python, JavaScript, or a similar language, and comfortable using SQL for investigation and analysis.
- Skilled at translating complex technical findings into clear business-level guidance for mixed audiences.
- Experienced in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, impact assessment, and structured escalation to engineering teams.
- Able to provide practical architecture guidance and make sound technical trade-offs based on client goals, product constraints, and operational impact.
- Process-minded, with a track record of identifying inefficiencies, documenting best practices, and helping improvements scale beyond one-off cases.
- Collaborative and credible with Product, R&D, GTM, Operations, clients, and technical partners.
- Strong communicator who can produce clear documentation, decision records, implementation guidance, and executive-ready summaries.
- Curious and adaptable, with a continuous-learning mindset and the ability to quickly build expertise in evolving product areas.
