What You'll Do:

The Senior Account Strategist (Senior AS) in MPO (Marketplace Performance Outcomes) plays a pivotal role in driving client success and revenue growth across marketplace and retail media partnerships. This role is client-facing and strategically positioned to manage high-impact relationships and optimize campaign performance.

1. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders

  • Maintain day-to-day communication with key MPO clients, ensuring trust and alignment

2. Upsell & Revenue Growth

  • Identify upsell opportunities and drive incremental revenue through performance-based strategies, especially within high-potential accounts

3. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to address all business, technical, and operational requirements, ensuring successful client growth

  • Partner closely with internal teams including Analytics, Creative Services, Technical Solutions, and TAM to tailor solutions for each client.

  • Provide feedback to global teams like Product Analytics and R&D to influence product evolution

4. Campaign Optimization

  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance, leveraging tools like internal reporting tools, various optimization levers like optimization algorithms and campaign set ups (Lower-Upper funnel)

5. Strategic Consulting

  • Drive strategically important partnership projects with large clients from a solution and product knowledge perspective

  • Advise clients on digital strategy, digital advertisement business, and offsite advertising solutions

  • Position MPO as a scalable, performance-driven solution

Who You Are:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent in Japanese and comfortable communicating in English

  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data

  • Ownership and autonomy in managing client portfolios

  • Ability to collaborate across functions and regions

  • Strategic thinking and adaptability in a fast-evolving product landscape
