What You'll Do:
The Senior Account Strategist (Senior AS) in MPO (Marketplace Performance Outcomes) plays a pivotal role in driving client success and revenue growth across marketplace and retail media partnerships. This role is client-facing and strategically positioned to manage high-impact relationships and optimize campaign performance.
1. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders
Maintain day-to-day communication with key MPO clients, ensuring trust and alignment
2. Upsell & Revenue Growth
Identify upsell opportunities and drive incremental revenue through performance-based strategies, especially within high-potential accounts
3. Cross-functional Collaboration
Coordinate cross-functional teams to address all business, technical, and operational requirements, ensuring successful client growth
Partner closely with internal teams including Analytics, Creative Services, Technical Solutions, and TAM to tailor solutions for each client.
Provide feedback to global teams like Product Analytics and R&D to influence product evolution
4. Campaign Optimization
Monitor and optimize campaign performance, leveraging tools like internal reporting tools, various optimization levers like optimization algorithms and campaign set ups (Lower-Upper funnel)
5. Strategic Consulting
Drive strategically important partnership projects with large clients from a solution and product knowledge perspective
Advise clients on digital strategy, digital advertisement business, and offsite advertising solutions
Position MPO as a scalable, performance-driven solution
Who You Are:
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in Japanese and comfortable communicating in English
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data
Ownership and autonomy in managing client portfolios
Ability to collaborate across functions and regions
Strategic thinking and adaptability in a fast-evolving product landscape
