What You'll Do:
We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially driven Account Strategist to join our Sales team in Tokyo. This role focuses on driving new business growth and expanding client partnerships, working closely with marketplaces, agencies and direct advertisers.
Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth by engaging with new and existing advertisers
Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Partner with clients to understand business objectives and propose tailored solutions
Lead commercial discussions including pitching, proposal creation, and negotiation
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and resolve client needs
Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations
Maintain a strong pipeline and track revenue growth and retention metrics
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in sales / business development / account management
Proven track record of driving revenue growth or client acquisition
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and close opportunities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and translate into business actions
Strong Excel skills (e.g., formulas, VLOOKUP, basic modeling)
Fluent Japanese and business-level English
