What You'll Do:

New Business Finance Enablement (NBFE) sits within Criteo Finance and is responsible for making sure Finance can safely and efficiently support new products, non-standard commercial deals and strategic partnerships.

NBFE's mission is to:

  • Advise Product and Commercial teams on scalable, finance-sound structures that balance client needs, revenue growth and operational cost
  • Ensure Finance readiness (processes, systems, data, controls, reporting, treasury/tax impacts) from Alpha/Beta through GA and scaling
  • Drive standardization by turning recurring patterns into reusable, well-designed "standards"
  • Clarify and improve governance, including finance review gates, DoA/approvals and KPIs for new business

As NBFE Project Manager, you are one of the key faces of Finance for Product and Commercial teams on new business topics.

This role is at the heart of Criteo's evolution towards a broader Commerce Media Platform and requires regular collaboration with Product, Commercial, Technology and Finance leaders.

Your Missions

Product / Deal / Partnership Enablement

For each product, non-standard deal or partnership in your scope, you will:

  • Represent Finance in cross-functional squads (Product, Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, IIT/R&D, Tax, Controlling, OTC, Treasury) from Ideation through Build and Run
  • Advise and negotiate setups that reduce Finance enablement cost, increase scalability and control, while meeting commercial and client requirements
  • Lead the Finance Viability assessment:

Use Product materials as inputs

Populate and maintain the internal Finance Viability Template across commercial model, billing, tax, accounting, reporting and treasury/payment topics

Consolidate inputs from all impacted Finance teams

  • Translate Finance requirements into clear, actionable asks for Product and IIT (tickets, user stories, acceptance criteria) and follow them through UAT to go-live
  • Steer the product / deal / partnership through go-live and hypercare, tracking both:

Financial outcomes

Operational health (billing accuracy, incident rate, manual work, exception handling)

Standardization and Re-use

Beyond individual deals, you will help NBFE industrialize new business patterns:

  • Identify recurring commercial and product patterns and where we can move from "one-off" to standard offers
  • Design, together with Product and IIT, standard enablers (billing design, reporting logic, approval rules) that Product and Sales can re-use with minimal finance friction
  • Contribute to the NBFE catalog of "standards" and knowledge base (playbooks, examples, do/don'ts)

Governance, Processes and KPIs

You will support and improve the governance of Finance in the new business lifecycle:

  • Propose and refine governance for new business in your scope:

Pre-approvals and Delegations of Authority (DoA)

Fast-track vs. standard review flows

RACI and SLAs between Finance, Product and Commercial

  • Ensure processes are documented end-to-end, including Finance roles and controls
  • Share input to Finance leadership on trends, risks and opportunities across your portfolio

Stakeholder Management and Communication

  • Act as a trusted counterpart for Product Managers, Commercial leaders and Finance stakeholders on all finance-related aspects of new products and deals
  • Prepare and run Finance and cross-functional workshops (design decisions, risk/impact reviews, go/no-go meetings)
  • Communicate clearly and regularly on status, risks, dependencies and decisions to:

Your manager and finance leadership

Finance teams impacted by the change (OTC Ops, Tax, Treasury, Controlling, FP&A, etc.)

Product and Commercial stakeholders

Who You Are:

Experience and Background

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Consulting, Audit and/or Project/Program Management
  • Strong Finance background, ideally with exposure to:

Order-to-Cash processes (billing, collections, reporting)

Revenue recognition and margin / cost allocation topics

Tax and legal entity considerations

  • Experience in AdTech or digital platforms is a strong plus

Skills

  • Solid project / program management skills, including:

Planning, risk management, stakeholder alignment, RAID tracking

Experience with Agile environments

  • Strong business and systems acumen:

Comfortable working functionally with ERP/billing, Salesforce and BI/reporting tools

Able to translate business requirements into system and data implications

  • Advanced analytical skills: able to understand complex commercial models, simulate financial impacts and challenge business cases
  • Proven ability to:

Drive a full end-to-end process view (from commercial agreement to invoicing, cash and reporting)

Lead complex business model implementations across multiple teams and systems

Coordinate transversally across Commercial, Product, Finance and Technology

  • Communication and influencing / negotiation skills, including with senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable preparing and presenting materials for Executive-level audiences
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus
